Responsibilities

Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities and provide clients with strategic advice.
Collaborate with clients to gather required financial information and documentation for tax purposes.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax provisions for audits and reviews.
Review and reconcile general ledger accounts related to tax transactions.
Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate any updates or changes to relevant stakeholders.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any tax-related issues.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent is highly preferred.
A minimum of 3 years SG Tax experience in tax accounting or a related field.
Strong knowledge of SG tax laws and regulations, including local and international tax principles.
Proficient in tax software and accounting software such as Xero and Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
