Be a key member and contribute to the success of the Global Mobility, Tax, and Immigration (GMTI) by supporting the development, delivery, and administration of the US and Canada immigration programs. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work as a collaborator and subject matter expert supporting our partner resources, recruiters, and business leaders on complex immigration matters. You will serve as a primary contact and provide support to partners. Simply put – we need someone smart, who gets things done and is great to work with.

As a sr. specialist, Immigration, you will…

  • Leads the pre-offer immigration assessment process through working with talent acquisition and outside immigration counsel.
  • Work with outside counsel and Partner Resources with managing and processing the timely and accurate filing of immigration applications and/or petitions and issue resolution.
  • Respond to candidate and partner inquiries on immigration-related matters including analyzing complex immigration matters, advising on potential risks and challenges, and resolving issues by facilitating stakeholder discussions that balance business and partner needs.
  • Liaise with outside counsel to interpret and apply immigration policies and procedures in a timely manner when appropriate.
  • Lead regular training with business partners, talent acquisition, and business groups.
  • Be the point of contact for USCIS audits and site visits.
  • Lead the H-1B lottery process to support immigration vendors, business partners, and partners.
  • Maintain system records to ensure accurate and timely information/documentation.

We’d love to hear from people with:

  • Bachelor and/or graduate degree in business or related field
  • 2-3 years of US Immigration experience with a comprehensive knowledge of processing nonimmigrant and immigrant (H-1B, L-1A/B, O-1, TN, E-3, F-1, I-140, AOS, etc.) cases either with an immigration law firm or for an in-house program for a corporate entity.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the employment-based green card process.

• Excellent written and verbal communication – ability to interface and influence with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong multi-tasking skills while continuing to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Be able to thrive and make sound decisions in an ambiguous work environment.
