Key Responsibilities

• Code Medical Records: Review and code patient records accurately using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal regulations, insurance requirements, and internal policies.
• Data Entry: Input and manage coding information into the company database with high accuracy.
• Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, billing departments, and other stakeholders to clarify information and resolve discrepancies.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of coded information.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of changes in coding standards and healthcare regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Educational Background: B Pharmacy or equivalent degree in a related field.
• Certification: Certified Medical Coder (CMC) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is preferred.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Experience

• Entry-Level: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Preferred: Some experience in medical coding or a related field is an advantage.

Working Hours
