Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career in Contracts Management. This role will support various activities for the TYP-4 Radar contracts team within our Ground Based Air Surveillance (GBAS) sub-market segment of the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Business Unit.

 

The specific role will entail the following: Proposing, negotiating, and administering standard and non-standard contracts. This includes helping to evaluate contract performance and compliance to contractual obligations, developing relationships with internal and external customer stakeholders, assisting in negotiating contract amendments or extensions, and other contract administrative tasks such as contract closeout.

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Political Science, English, etc.).
  • Business acumen with the ability to identify risk elements in business transactions, think analytically, and provide effective guidance towards resolving contractual issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess basic Microsoft Office computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required). • Basic knowledge of contract management practices and standards; including the art of negotiations.
  • Experience with reviewing complex contractual language and assessing any risks while developing proposed mitigations for review by the team.
  • Professional Business Writing and/or excellent written skills.
